Dallas to Missoula
After I finished my undergrad, I lived and worked in Dallas, TX for a couple years. It was great to experience the big city but even better to return home to Missoula. On the trip back, my best friend flew down to Dallas and he and I went on a site seeing tour. It was quite the trip in my little Toyota pulling a Uhaul trailer. Less than a day into the trip my driver side window refused to go back up to the closed position. By not having the window up, and the two of us having a great time on not thinking, each of us sunburned the top of our left legs when we took turns driving on the first day. We quickly learned our lesson and draped something over our legs the rest of the trip. The trip back took a little over four days and we were able to see the Painted Desert and the Grand Canyon.

Let's Give it a Shot!
I am currently exhausted! Why you ask? It is all do to the excitement in our household. Recently (three weeks ago) my wife and I welcomed our second child in to this world. Joseph Andrew was born on May 28th in a whirlwind labor. The nurses actually wrote on my wife's chart that she had a spontaneous labor. My wife was spectacular during labor and continues to amaze me everyday with her ability to manage and thrive in the new lifestyle. Little Joe and his older brother Declan Michael have kept us crazy busy since coming home. While the two boys may drain our energy, they nourish our spirit and give us so much joy. I have posted a couple pictures of the boys. I enjoy the one with Declan showing Joseph and me where my nose is.
